Meet Eldita
Eldita Herreria-Garcia, was born & raised in the BlueGrass State developing her love of horses which brought her to live, work, volunteer & play in Southwest Ranches for 24 years. Born of Catholic Cuban parents, she is fluent in both English & Spanish. Eldita earned her B.A. w/honors in Liberal Arts & Sciences from the University of Florida. As a Gator Grad she started her 15-year marketing career at United Way of Dade County & PCA Family Health Plans. Acquiring considerable experience in marketing, public relations, fundraising & corporate event production led her to establish Events By Eldita, Inc., a successful corporate events consulting business. Responsible for all aspects of operating her own small business, detailed event planning & production, some of her illustrious clientele included: General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Humana & Benihana. Her years as a Corporate Event Planner has made her the organized, effective problem-solving, detail-oriented individual she is today.
In 2000, Eldita founded & led G.E. Development of So. Fla., Inc., a commercial building construction company, where she learned the field of construction from the ground up. In 2006 she completed the $22M construction of her family’s parish, Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, earning her the Archdiocese of Miami’s accolade as “their one & only tenacious female contractor”. During her construction decade, Eldita acquired her Certifications in Safety & Construction, EPA Lead Paint, Chinese Drywall Removal & her Water/Mold Remediation/Restoration State License while at the College of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. As the construction industry spiraled down, Eldita entered the real estate industry. She acquired her Real Estate Sales Associate State License in 2010 & joined the Caprio Team.
Her keen eye for detail has evolved into home staging for her Sellers & her construction knowledge helps her Buyers envision the endless possibilities of their new home. She is a creative marketer, negotiator, troubleshooter & holds herself to the highest level of professionalism. She brings all these traits & talents to the Caprio Team. Her primary sales specializations are “Servicing her Sellers” & “Family Relocations” to Southwest Ranches, Davie, East Fort Lauderdale, Fort Pierce & Melbourne Beach. When she is not selling real estate, Eldita is the mother of 2 adult children & volunteers her time & talents on various community endeavors.
